"If you build it they will come" – Field Of Dreams
View Of The Bar

The bar is built in the shape of a wooden boat, the wooden sides curved to represent a small clinker built boat that could have served the Victory as a tender.
You will notice the wooden beams wrapped as sails, the crows nests (which conceal the lighting) and the sky effect painted on the ceiling. The raised brasserie area.

Opposite the bar we have the raised brasserie area. This area is prepared for those of you visiting the Lord Nelson for a meal. You will notice throughout the Lord Nelson the thick stone walls of the origional Casemates Barracks.
The building is nearly 200 years old and the stonework is approximatly 2 mtrs thick, if you look at each stone block carefully you will see the individual signature marks from each stonemason - amazing!
We have over 20 pieces of art relating to Nelson & the Battle of Trafalgar supplied by the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London. Lord Nelson Crew.
